About the Owner

Kjell (shel) McCord (NMLS #832254) grew up on the Oregon Coast and came to Utah to study Statistics and Business at BYU, later returning for an MBA. He's spent 26 years in marketing, real estate, and mortgage lending, and founded Evergreen Mortgage LLC in 2015 as Owner/Lending Manager, serving clients in Utah, Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Montana, New Mexico, Florida, and California. In Kjell's words: "I love what I do."

He also loves his wife, 5 sons, and 3 step-daughters.  He enjoys the outdoors, traveling, sailing, mountain biking, cooking, and DIY projects.
